Dear parents,

Welcome to our program. It is designed to develop some basic skills and build confidence. Our hope is that your boys go on after this clinic and enjoy this recreation for years to come. If he has a happy experience, there is a good chance he may discover the joys of a great game. The boys will be appropriately grouped, and the lessons will be tailored to their abilities. Since the program was designed for beginners, there will be a greater number of novice players. However, there will be some experienced players who will need to be challenged. Once a player is placed in a group he may be moved based on the instructors’ evaluations. Please let them make that decision. They really do know best!

         This Junior Bruins link will lead you to a menu that includes lessons, a calendar of sessions, a list of coaches and a players list and gallery. Since the site is still under construction, more information will be added over the duration of the season; for example, players’ pictures and coaches’ biographies should be available around mid-season. We will also feature guest appearances; for example, past Brunswick Varsity players and Mr. Michael Kennedy, assistant coach of the Brunswick Varsity.

Finally, because this is a winter activity, we are forced to include this very important bit of information: snow cancellation. If inclement weather is pending or occurs on the day of the clinic, we will attempt to e-mail you or you may call the Athletic Department Hotline – (203) 625- 5817.
