APPLIED
CALCULUS
This course provides students
with a practical introduction to calculus. Concepts are
presented in an intuitive way and students learn to use
advanced problem-solving techniques. A graphing
calculator is used to clarify concepts and to produce
numerical solutions to calculus problems. Topics include
the derivative, applications of the derivative, techniques
of differentiation, exponential and logarithmic functions,
integration, techniques of integration, and differential
equations.
Homework is given out in class everyday.
