PUERTO RICO:

- It is an island.

- Its capital is San Juan.

- Puerto Rico is surrounded by two major bodies of water: the Atlantic Ocean on the North and the Caribbean Sea on the South.

- In the east it borders with The Virgin Islands and in the west with the Dominican Republic.

- The official languages are Spanish and English.

- The currency is the US dollar.

- The old San Juan reflects the Spanish colonial period.

- San Juan is a city that it is surrounded by an old stone wall from the Spanish colonial times.

- Puerto Rico has a lot of wonderful beaches.

- “La Cordillera Central” is Puerto Rico’s central mountain range that almost goes from east to West.

- “El yunque” is the largest Caribbean National forest area in Puerto Rico.

- “El Coqui” is a small frog that makes a loud sound and it is the symbol of Puerto Rico.

- Puerto Rico has the biggest observatory in the world.
