Gustaría and Encantaría: Used when making polite requests. The “-ia” ending on the verbs gustar and encantar is used to say what you would like or to soften requests and to respond to a request. The equivalent in English are would like and would love:
Me encantaría ir a la piscina = I would love to go to the pool.
No me gustaría ir al dentista = I wouldn’t like to go to the dentist.
Me gustaría ir al cine = I would like to go to the movies.
Me encantaría ir a esquiar = I would love to go skiing.
