French

I feel that I am lucky to know more than one language, and that it makes me a better teacher in foreign language.  During my whole teaching career, I have taught both French and Arabic. 

I am fascinated by the French language, as well as French history and culture.  I would like my students to share this enthusiasm with me.  My approach to teaching French is communicative and student-centered. 

French III Honors is an advanced class in French.  We use the French in Action textbook, developed by Pierre J. Capretz et al. from Yale University.  Students have a good level of French when they begin this course.  Students are encouraged to use French in class all the time.
