Chinese, French, Italian, and Spanish are the four modern languages taught at Brunswick.

Spanish is introduced in the Lower School and is offered subsequently in the Middle School and Upper School divisions.

Chinese and French are introduced in the Middle School and continued in the Upper School.

Arabic and Italian are electives in the Upper School.

Any of these languages can be started in the Upper School, and, if taken through level three, fulfills the three-year Foreign Language requirement for graduation.
