The Middle School Community
Service program is dedicated to a relatively simple idea:
Compassion is a human emotion
that can be nurtured and encouraged to grow.

Just
as our boys learn the intricacies of the scientific method, the wonders of
ancient Egypt and the thrill of victory on the playing field, they can also
experience the true satisfaction that comes with the knowledge that they have
helped another human being.

Our program is directed toward
one-on-one interactions of our boys with other children, older adults and others
in our community who might have need of comfort and support.

Accompanied by their advisors and
welcomed by the schools and institutions they visit, our boys undertake a
year-long effort to reach out to the world beyond Brunswick.
