Magazine/On-line Test Analysis (AP and Personality)

 1) Find a test in a magazine or online (popular sites include www.queendom.com and www.tickle.com).  It should be a personality test rather than one which measures finite knowledge such as vocab, etc.

 2) Take and score the test

 3) Evaluate the test – consider its validity (face, content, and predictive), its reliability (split-half), efficiency, objectivity, and standardization.  Be sure to provide examples (specific questions as supporting evidence) for your views.

 4) For whom is the test intended?  Overall, how “fair” or biased is it?  How should it be used?

 5) What specific changes could be made to improve the test?

 Be sure to double space, write about 350-500 words, and attach a hard copy of the test to your analysis.  It is due on MONDAY, 2/25, and is worth 25 points.  Have fun!!!!
