Analyze the qualities of the Romance (chivalric) hero as presented in Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.  What qualities are celebrated in this poem?  How do these qualities differ from those celebrated in Beowulf?  What does this difference tell us about the culture that composed Sir GawainOrganize this essay around heroic qualities as topics--consider the larger questions in your conclusion.  Be sure to include specific reference to the text in support of your topics.
