Assignments Due:

Vacation Reading - August Wilson's play "Fences." It's not long and is reasonably easy to read.

Tuesday/25 - "Fences" Finished

Wednesday/26 - be prepared to write on "Fences."

Friday/28
    Grammar: Read pp. 168-179 in Hacker and do ex. 12-1 & 12-2 found in the text.
        Make sure you also have your workbook in class.

Monday/31 - Essay due on "Fences" Topic
    Bring Catcher in the Rye to class along with your grammar stuff.

Tuesday/1
    Vocab Quiz #11
    Grammar: quiz on modifiers.

Thursday/3 - Catcher in the Rye, chapters 1 & 2
