Many of the works written in the 20th Century captivate readers with a much more familiar landscape than the classic literature which came before it; however, these more recent authors also seek to expose the truths about our world and the realities that affect the human condition. The struggles of myriad characters are played out in unique styles, yet there remain many points of connection to our own worlds and our own individual struggles.
